dudu-lai although these functions are not directly controlled by the OEM host, the radio did act as a node on the CAN-bus network. The auto headlight functionality is driven by a sensor on the rearview mirror. When replacing the OEM host with dudu7, I also lost OEM microphone communications. This functionality lives in the same rearview mirror wiring system as the headlight sensor.
If I start my car with the key, the heated seats function correctly. This is completed by manually pressing a button on the center console which starts the heating seats and illuminates the heated seat button. Determination- heated seat system works as designed.
If I start the car with the factory remote starter, the preconfigured auto heated seat function by remote start does not work. And If I manually press the heated seat button, the function starts and the button illuminates for 1 second and then shuts OFF.
Assumed determination; The canbus setting for heated seats with remote start within the vehicle details on the dudu7 is configured to OFF. This is creating a conflict between the EVIC setting on my dash which is set to ON and the dudu7 canbus setting which is set to OFF
