New 360 camera left/right turn view

Divakar yes, only the beta has the new 360 app which I think it’s better than the previous apart from the issue I spoke about

I shot a photo of the 360 backward view and you can see my left hand peaking out from the right side of the car instead of the left side.
This way if I turn left I’ll see all the cars coming from my left side on the right side of the screen, it’s the opposite.
If you can imagine the same view but mirrored you’ll find out that it would be a very great view because I’ll see the screen as a digital mirror with the cars on my left coming from the left side of the screen.
There’s no way at the moment to mirror the image, there is no mirror button and if you try with angle, zoom and move functions you will always have the opposite image.
Can you ask to the developers for an upgrade?

Vitosgromo Bro ,is it possible to upload a video of the issue. I do understand the importance of what your saying but I just like to see how it actually looks when you turn on the signals..If you have already published the videos ,I an sorry to bother you....

Isn't this the left side?
In both shots, your left hand is coming from the left. To me, it looks fine.

Camera preview should be able to set as horizontally flipped (mirror effect enabled).
Example: If some car pass from the left side of the car the user should see that car at the left side of the screen even look from front angle of the car.

Now if car come from left of the car we see it at the right side of the screen so its confusing.

DUDU-Meng yes but if you want this view to be functional it has to be mirrored.
If you imagine this while your driving it’s very confusing because your mind looks at the screen like looking at the rear mirror and when you turn left you expect the cars coming from the left peaking out from the left of the screen not from the right (like my hand does).
This view has to simulate the rear mirror to be functional but now it’s inverted.
I repeat it would be perfect if a mirror button were added, it would be an excellent view!

If you're extending your left hand, then the photo you uploaded is fine. So I don't understand why you need to mirror it? Your hand is on the left side in all the photos.
If anyone else understands what this means, please explain it. Thanks. Because I really don't get it.

You have to imagine this view like it was a rearview mirror, in this case would be perfect and not confusing our mind. Our mind expect the cars coming from the real left to be on the left of the screen, just like a rearview mirror.
Anyone helps me please to explain?

If you want to mirror the 3D interface, then consider the front view.
After mirroring, it can function like looking in a mirror. But have you considered that the 3D interface is panoramic? What happens when you swipe and rotate to the rear view? Would you need to black out the screen and reload the image to cancel the mirroring?

DUDU-Meng I need only the 3D backward view to be mirrored, just like other views already do with a switch button .
It helps when using it when I turn left or right.
It doesn’t have to impact the panoramic or rear view.
The left and right views already have the possibility to choose 3D backward view so when I turn left or right I see what’s happening in the rear left or in the rear right but at this moment the visualization is inverted and confusing the mind!
The monitor has to act like a rearview mirror when you use this visualization but is now inverted
Anyone can help me to better explain this?

Static 2D images can be mirrored without affecting others.
3D images can be slid. How does it achieve mirroring on a single face?

In this case the view is called “3D backward” by Dudu and if it functioned like a rear mirror it would be fantastic and so useful!
I hope your explanation helps the devs to solve the issue!

Great explanation Battoussai. If this was implemented (or some version that achieves the same outcome), it would make the 360 camera actually usable while driving instead of only usable while parking.
