Hi,
My unit is a Mekede A7870 with the latest Official DuduOS release 3.6E (or v250905)
Since the install of the latest version of the software, I have a strange bug, which was not there before.
Layout is set to "normal" mode. (I do not know if that matters regarding the bug)
I think it is important to note that in the setting I turned of sleep mode (because of battery saving), so my unit always does a fresh start.
After the first start of the car the headunit starts properly, and after a while it also detects GPS signal and all is working perfectly. I do some driving (it is not important how much) and I stop the car and go for example shopping.
It was not too much time (say 30 minutes, this is IMPORTAT!) and I arrive back to my car and start it again.
This is where the trouble begins!
The headunit starts up (note, that NOT from sleep mode), and it doesn't detects my GPS signal. It does not matter, how long I am waiting. The little GPS sign in the top right corner (on the status bar) is not visible. I use the speedometer widget (which is based upon GPS and not can bus) and while I am driving it always show "0" KMH. My compass widget also point to only one direction and does not changes.
The only solution that I found is go to android setting -> applications -> select "Dudu" -> Force stop
After that, Dudu Desktop restarts automatically and it works again perfectly!
2nd interesting thing regarding the bug, is time. If I am waiting enough time (which I do not know, how much is enough), say 1 or 2 day in my garage then the bug vanishes and if I start my car the headunit start also, and Dudu detects the GPS signal again normally.
Anyone experiencing problems like that?
Is there a permanent solution to this? I mean I do not want always restart the Dudu Desktop manually. 🙁
Could this be some caching problem? For me it looks like the “always shutdown” mode works only if some time passes by.
Best regards
Peter
