BBishop123 ziddey this tutorial is for dudu7 units only. I've only tested it on dudu7 so unfortunately if it doesn't work on dudu5/6 I don't know how to help, sorry :/
MrMcFly Is it also possible with other apps? Youtube Music for example is not easy to handle on the display.
BBishop123 MrMcFly I don't see why not. I've only tested google maps and waze so far. Waze unfortunately doesn't work. But give youtube a go and lmk 👍
BBishop123 MrMcFly if the normal music apps don't work, you can use Spotify lite instead of regular Spotify, as it has a more simple layout and is easier to navigate on a car screen. Not a perfect solution but better than standard Spotify. Altair571 Music apps won’t work as it needs the automotive core apps which only works on Android Automotive OS. Installing the apps manually doesn’t work on normal Android. Waze also needs this to work as well.
MihaiFlorin JRANGER615 It should work. We are talking here about the default GMaps coming with the head unit. Sometimes when you have short trips it opens the route in "pedestrian mode" and until now I haven't found a way to changing back to "driving mode". At least in my 12.3 inch screen. This is our problem. Not the android auto.
BBishop123 JRANGER615 android auto works fine. This is an application that you run on the dudu7 device, you don't need your phone.
