I recently installed a DUDU 7 into my 2011 Hyundai Genesis. I'm having issued with wired car play.
User 1 connect to CarPlay via Bluetooth with the car link app. Quickly connects and works as expected. User 1 is the only bluetooth connection to the DUDU.
User 2 connects via the 4 prong USB wire. For the first week, car play connected quickly and worked as expected. All of a sudden, the wired connecting stopped working . The white screen appears and is seems to go thur its verification and connection process, then nothing. On the rare occasion that it does connect to car play, it quickly disconnects and goes back to the white screen. I have tried multiple USB - USB C cables, all with the same result. When the phone is plugged in, it does chime and start to charge. Without disconnecting, it chimes again, making be think that wired connection starts and stops.
Anyone else have this problem and figure out a solve. I'm considering a factor rest.
