Sim Card Not Recognized

I got a sim card for my Dudu7. When I inserted it into the unit, I shut down the car and even did a reboot for good measure. When I go to the mobile network page, it is greyed out.

I have triple checked that the sim card is installed correctly.

Any ideas?

Turning off the car won't restart the system. Try manually restarting it.
Also, check if there's a PIN code. If there is, insert the phone and turn it off. Additionally, verify that the SIM card is properly seated in the slot.

hizzledizzlemizzle Hi. I had mine installed a week ago and it did not have a PIN code but it did not work for about 3 days ,I tried removing and seating it properly in the slot many times but to no avail ,however a couple days ago when I started my car as usual to go to work ,to my excitement I saw the icon connected and since then it works fine.I suppose there is always hope if we do exercise patience.
