Request for Raise CANBUS firmware G-RZ-AR51 (Alfa Romeo Giulietta 940)

Hello,
I need the correct firmware for the Raise CANBUS box model G-RZ-AR51 used in an Alfa Romeo Giulietta 940 with original Bose audio system.

After performing the OTA update from the CANBUS settings menu, the unit restarted and now several issues appeared:
– The menu doesn’t respond correctly
– The touch sometimes works and sometimes freezes
– The audio output stopped working completely

I already tried to reset the unit and disconnect the power, but nothing changed.
Please provide the correct firmware (or the latest working version) for the Raise G-RZ-AR51 to restore full functionality.

Attached below are photos of the CANBUS box label and the “CAN Info” screen from my head unit.

Or did you update DUDUOS instead of the CANBUS box?

I didn’t update DUDUOS. The OTA update I performed was inside the CANBUS section of the Factory Settings menu.
After the update completed, the system rebooted and the touch screen stopped responding.

That’s why I believe the problem is related to the Raise CANBUS MCU firmware, and I need the correct file to reinstall it via USB.

Who provided you with the CANBUS firmware?

the menu in your screenshot is not the same as mine. On my unit (QS8 Series, Android 14, Raise CANBOX), the OTA update appeared automatically inside the “Factory Settings → CANBUS Setting” menu, not in the “CANBUS Update / Local Update” page.

I didn’t load any file manually. The system downloaded and installed the update by itself, then rebooted and since that moment, the touch screen stopped working.

That’s why I’m asking for the Raise CANBUS MCU firmware compatible with my model, so I can reinstall it via USB and recover the touch function.

Hi,
I have attached all the information and photos I have. In the image you can see the area marked in red, which is where I clicked to perform the OTA update. After the update, the system restarted but stopped working correctly. At the moment, I can only navigate using a USB keyboard.

The firmware shown in the system settings is the wrong one that caused the malfunction. I have also attached a photo of the CANBUS Raise box label to help identify the exact model.

I really hope you can help me restore everything with the correct firmware.

antonello You're better off contacting the seller or Raise directly since you won't get help from DUDU as you don't have a DUDU unit.

Also from what you've said, it unlikely to be related to the CAN box. The update you performed was likely a system or MCU update which was either buggy or not compatible with your specific unit. Manufacturers often use different components in the same unit which may require different drivers.
