Can be used DUDUAUTO OBD dongle for CANBUS reading?

Hello all,

Please, would like to ask can get some canbus readings via obd dongle and see it then?

I got Dudu7 with 3.6E and DUDU OBD dongle connected on Suzuki Swift AZC33S.. everything works well, can get some readings from dongle to the car widget (water temp, throtle, engine load, RPMs.., not driving distances).

Just was wondering if can get some CANBUS readings as well (doors open, lights etc...) and see them then in some widget.

I tried before canbus decoder od-lm-01 with corect harness but it was not working as Dudu does not support it yet, what I understand, so get an idea if can get anything via OBD dongle..

Most vehicles' OBD ports do not provide data for door status or interior lighting. This information is transmitted via the CAN bus.

Hello Ming.. thank you very much for your response.. please, so can get any canbus readings via ODB dongle to DuduOS?
ODB port alone allows reading scanbus.

The data read from the OBD port is K-line data, not CAN bus. The vehicle's OBD port does not provide complete CAN bus data.
If you have a CAN box, you can configure the OBD as the system interface.
