adlammomp I don't think that you can switch between vertical and horizontal per settings.
I think it is fixed layout. Horizontal or vertical.

Coming from v250905, attempted local update ota but got checksum failed. After verifying that checksum does indeed match, I added lsec6315update and did a traditional usb update, which worked fine.

Originally a navifly unit that's now detected as dudu5. Still missing LPF for subwoofer.

Using Waze as the navigation app in minimalist mode, I'm noticing that sometimes the app just flashes when starting the car. Will then have to close the app and restart it. Doesn't happen all the time, but is fairly frequent. Didn't happen on v250905

Also, it looks like the system font is missing whatever unicode that's shown as tofu (Waze nav shows E and 3 notdefs):

Any way to have the custom navbar do music text in two rows (like the other navbar mode), instead of scrolling a single one?

I can open the settings and applications, but no matter how I change the settings in the launcher, nothing helps to make the line at the top appear. All applications (for example, Yandex Navigator) are also cut off.

7inch 2din from Aliexpress. The screen itself, I think, is about 6 inch mb.

abidali to add to my post, here are screenshots of generic FYT7870 unit, with graphs in crossovers and on EQ. Crossover point can be any frequency unlike DUDU7 where some frequency number can't be set, for example 80hz for front and rear speakers, only 77hz or 82hz.

Totalmente decepcionante e inadmisible esa limitación de HZ por parte de Dudu .
No entiendo como pueden estar limitando tantísimo el hardware por simplificar el software .
Por culpa del software tan restringido estan limitando la unidad de buenos componentes.

Ahora mismo da la impresión de que Dudu esta por debajo de unidades FYT genéricas.
Y una de las ventajas de marketing de Dudu, que es su servicio postventa en el que los clientes pueden aconsejar mejoras,parece totalmente incompetente.

Go to settings, ABOUT > ANDROID OPTIONS > SYSTEM > ENGINEER MODE (something similar) password = 3368. Look for the "minimum width" option and change the DPI; in your case, I believe you should increase the DPI.

I have a DuDu 6. How do I activate the new 360 camera app? It only installs the old one.

rinx Settings > vehicle settings > factory setting (password) > other settings > switch to new 360 app.

This is how I do it on dudu 7. If it is different on dudu 6 I apologize. Also stitching parameters are not compatible between old and new app. You will need to recalibrate and you will need to back up your current parameters.

Bladesore Yes, the Dudu7 has a new camera app, but the Dudu6 doesn't have a switch to the new 360 app.

An error occurs because apps load faster than data when the device is turned on and in Minimal Mode.

To resolve this issue, I have a suggestion:
Please allow the device to first enter the background screen, like in normal mode, and then enter Minimal Mode.

Installing DuduOS on third-party head units (beta test)
A temporary test period is open during which DuduOS can be installed on FYT 7862 and FYT 8581 head units.

Note: The beta test is only available on FYT head units with a 7862(s) or 8581 processor. Head units with a 7870 processor are not eligible for the beta test! Do not install DuduOS until approved (activated). You will not be able to fully use your head unit without activation. If you are unsure whether your device is eligible for the beta test, please ask on the forum or in the Telegram group.
The beta test is not available for users in Mainland China or for head units intended for the local Mainland China market.

Beta test participants can install DuduOS on their head units. Supported head units: FYT platform with 7862(s) or 8581 processor
The beta test requires feedback from participants to identify as many operating system bugs as possible.
Any bugs found in DUDU OS should be reported on the DUDUAUTO forum. Learn how to properly file a Bug Feedback form. You can create forum threads in your native language.

To participate in the beta test, you must (activation):

Your head unit is built on the FYT platform with a 7862(s) or 8581 processor
Submit an activation request via private message to @yaoxilong in the following format:
Telegram username: Your Telegram username
UUID: Your device's UUID number
Location: City, Country
Activation failure: none
Along with your request, please send a screenshot of your head unit's "About the system" section.
Wait for an activation response and install the latest version available for beta testing.
