I connect the rear monitor rca to the dudu7 and listen to the sound through the speaker.
I listen to it through aux, but the aux volume is much lower than that of ordinary music.

Hello, @YAOXILONG , and big congrats for you and your team on the constant work that you guys put into Dudu products and OS.

I have a Dudu7 10 inch device that I want to converts to a vertical screen. I would also be happy to flash the 3.7b version afterwards. Do you have any advices on how I can get my hands on a vertical screen that is compatible with dudu7 headunit display module?

Blackbandt This is what I have just used on mine and worked fine. Check the Android about info and your number should be in the CPU info.

Your team should work on sound settings:

Feature / Improvement Requests for DUDU7 Firmware

HPF / LPF Adjustment Buttons
- Add + / – buttons for High-Pass and Low-Pass filter frequency adjustment (in addition to slider). With HPF values, I can't set precisely 80Hz, it's either 77hz or 82hz nothing in between.
- Display filter slope graph visually during adjustment (as already shown in standard FYT7870 DSP UI).
Subwoofer Phase Control
- Add Subwoofer Phase setting adjustable from 0° to 180° (or continuously variable).
- This helps match subwoofer phase alignment with front stage.
Separate EQ for Front and Rear Channels
- Allow independent EQ control for Front and Rear speakers.
- This is important when rear speakers have different tweeter response or are used for fill.
Surround Focus / Time Alignment Preset Handling
- Add 2–3 user-saveable presets for Surround Focus / Independent speaker delay settings.
- Fix behavior where Independent mode values reset when switching to Linkage and back. The system should retain previous manual values.
DTS Default Setting
- Set DTS to OFF by default. Currently it is defaults to ON which affects tonality.

The hardware is more than capable for this, AKM7739 even support per channel EQ. 3.7 update should include these changes.

abidali Thank you for your feedback. This saves me from flashing the beta version. The issue you described has been frequently criticized. And they said it would be changed in the beta. According to your observations, it unfortunately wasn't changed after all. That's very disappointing. What are people signing up for? Empty promises, unfortunately.

abidali to add to my post, here are screenshots of generic FYT7870 unit, with graphs in crossovers and on EQ. Crossover point can be any frequency unlike DUDU7 where some frequency number can't be set, for example 80hz for front and rear speakers, only 77hz or 82hz.

Blackbandt only a graph is added to the EQ like what already existed in YL880 or generic 7870 model. You can add any slope or crossover frequency and there's graph of slopes in different colors.

Hardware is there and it support everything asked here.

abidali Unfortunately, that's not what was requested. It was stated often enough what was needed. And it was also stated that it would be changed in Beta 3.7. But it was all just cosmetic work. That's very sad, because it's not what people had asked for.

adlammomp I don't think that you can switch between vertical and horizontal per settings.
I think it is fixed layout. Horizontal or vertical.

Coming from v250905, attempted local update ota but got checksum failed. After verifying that checksum does indeed match, I added lsec6315update and did a traditional usb update, which worked fine.

Originally a navifly unit that's now detected as dudu5. Still missing LPF for subwoofer.

Using Waze as the navigation app in minimalist mode, I'm noticing that sometimes the app just flashes when starting the car. Will then have to close the app and restart it. Doesn't happen all the time, but is fairly frequent. Didn't happen on v250905

Also, it looks like the system font is missing whatever unicode that's shown as tofu (Waze nav shows E and 3 notdefs):

Any way to have the custom navbar do music text in two rows (like the other navbar mode), instead of scrolling a single one?

Hi! DUDUOS 3.7b for 8581 v251104 from this post + custom config:

I can open the settings and applications, but no matter how I change the settings in the launcher, nothing helps to make the line at the top appear. All applications (for example, Yandex Navigator) are also cut off.

7inch 2din from Aliexpress. The screen itself, I think, is about 6 inch mb.

After a factory reset, the screen looks fine. After the initial setup, the app space is cut off again.
