In my country, head units are expensive. Most shops sell 4 RAM 64 ROM with outdated CPU prices for the 8/128 price of Dudu6. And there are only 7-8 brands that dominate the head unit market in my country. No FYT, Teyes, ETC, but some make-up brands with unknown names to the western market, such as Carwales, ALPHA COUSTIC, Nakamichi, BLAUPUNKT, and KANZEN.
All of them just order the head unit from random Chinese manufacturers by choosing from those manufacturers' catalogs, then put their brand logos on the box. So the aftermarket support is nonexistent except for some brands who ordered legit FYT or Teyes for some of their products. Sometimes, those brands even order head units from manufacturers who do a clone version and put their brand logos on it. My former unit is one of them (QF005 ROCO K706 Head Units with UIS 8581a). And most of these head units suck; you can't install the Dudu Launcher PIP version, and their music widget won't ever show album art from any apps except the default music player, which requires a music scan every time it boots.
So, in my opinion, Dudu is better than those head units sold in my country.
