Sony 662 reliability

Dudu7 with 360 cameras sony 662. After some initial issues I got the 360 cameras working. 2 days later the front camera went to black screen. After swapping cameras around I concluded it was a faulty camera. I ordered a replacement and managed to get everything functional again yesterday. This morning it had stopped working again. This afternoon it worked and again this evening it was back to a black screen.
Swapping cameras has shown me that the cable and head unit don't have a fault. I am left with the unlikely possibility that I have had 2 faulty front cameras.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues or have thoughts as to the likelihood of having 2 faulty cameras?

MartyC It's rare for both cameras to malfunction. Is it possible that the front extension cord is short-circuited?

MartyC Can you explain how the heck you even got these to turn on at all?

Mine are all plugged in, but no video at all. Didnt use any rca plugs, just the harness that came with it for the 360 cameras.

Personally i found the 662 camera reliability poor. I was wondering if it was just me. Im speaking for the non 360 version.

Just after a few days of use the 662 camera blacked out on me. I was told i can leave the 307 wire which i did. It worked for like 3 days then It went crazy with static for the image on the screen then blacked out. I went back to my old 307 with zero issues.

Im now also using a gront 662 non 360 for a few weeks now. I did run the new 662 supplied wire this time. Just the other day when the front camera turned on the entire picture turned pink. So im waiting for that to go now. I will go back to my old 307 if that fails.

Again this is my personal experience and opinion but the quality has not been there for the 662.
