Zgadzam się z przedmówcą, na forum znajdują się użytkownicy dla których dźwięk jest priorytetem. Dobrze by było ukierunkowanie kolejnych aktualizacji pod tym względem.
Dla mnie najlepsza opcja to był by interfejs dla którego priorytet to jest osiągnięcie Bit-perfect omijający wewnętrzny mixer androida. Minimum gadżetów max wydajności dla aplikacji muzycznych.
Teraz pytanie dla użytkowników Dudu czy istnieje zewnętrzne rozwiązanie dla poprawy sygnału Spdif oraz USB ??

Never heard about this audio component brand - ESX... Are they good? where did you install your midbass drivers, btw?

There is no such interface; it is a matter of optimizing the way Android core is running. As stated above, developers from Teyes and apparently Joying addressed this issue in one of their OTAs. Let's hope that YAOXILONG and DUDU-Meng will eventually focus on solving it. I guess their main objective now is the capitalization of all kinds of external accessories for the HU.

Tomaso nie ma.
Spdif zawsze leci przez android mixer (da się ominąć sztywny 48kHz resampling w androidzie i wypuszczać np 44.1kHz dynamicznie jak plik ma). Ale, Dudu wydaje się mało zainteresowany tym bo wymaga to także dynamicznych flag dla BT audio modułu i radia modułu. Aczkolwiek jest to do zrobienia, analizowałem schematy modułów i akceptują dynamiczne zmiany sampling rate komendami po magistrali. Wydaje mi się, że ta warstwa protokołu do modułów jest zaszyta w firmware MCU, więc dudu nie da rady tego zrobić, bo FYT nie udostępnia kodów źródłowych itd. Joying ostatni ma to zaimplementowane, ale jest na snapdragonie i wydaje mi się, że mają dostęp do zmian w MCU.
Co do trzaskow na USB, dalej nie wiadomo o co chodzi.

Ultimaite This should have been solved by now. This is an amazing device; audio quality is somewhat lacking in terms of true quality of digital output. if they could solve this problem, there won't be a need to switch devices.

Ultimaite Insignia - Touring OPC

My previous car was that generation as OPC you are referring to, I had Insignia A sports tourer 4x4. Sold it and bought the next (and unfortunately not latest but the last gen) Insignina B sports tourer GSi

Ultimaite ESX... Are they good?

It is one of sub-brands of Audio Design GmbH, Germany.
If you ever heard of Hifonics, Musway, ESX, RockfordFosgate, Crunch, Renegade, Autotek, MBQuart these are the brands of Audio Design.
ESX is good, I like it, just check reviews.
My recent upgrade is I replaced 2x Audio System amps and ESX D68SP processor with all-in-one ESX VE1300.11SPV2 which covers all the needs. I was quite sceptic about replacement of A/B-class amps to D-class, but specs wise and after some listening how it sound I'm happy with this upgrade

Remark, I wouldn't recommend ESX signum series A/B amps as THD level is quite audible (at least for me). This is why I replaced them with Audio System germany Radeon series amps, R125.4 and R250.2 (Audio System italy is a separate brand), which are amazing, build quality/sound/price-wise. Absolutely worth their money.
But as I said I had a DSP/AMP gift from ESX reps and I decided to install it.

For me, popping sound happens when USB-C output is used for audio. When 6-pin USB-A cable is used, no popping or crackling sound observed.

What I noticed is that, audio is much cleaner with USB than the SPDIF optical/Coax. Feels like SPDIF is muddy after using USB Audio for a few minutes.

abidali That's because SPDIF is always capped at 48khz and 96khz+ are just blatant lies, I am not making this up. The settings do absolutely nothing. USB however has real passthrough. Do not trust dudu with anything, it's just a lot of promises with a lot more of nothing.

I got myself their ambient light and half of the shit that is laying in the box is undocumented and not working. Just stuff they got from whatever manufacturer and kept it in, but not have integrated in their software. Wow, amazing work

dahack I'm actually glad to see when someone says they change amps To D class. Of course many people would skin you alive on forums, ONLY A or AB!! Well, D class amps has gone truly long way of development and with good amps hardly in car anyone would hear any difference. But they are smaller and much more energy efficient. (I am committing an audio crime, I've got D class amp even for my tweeters! 😂)

These are Maxxsonics brands, or at least they once were... I have been running Hifonics amps since 2007, so I am quite acquainted with their lineup.
Yeah, indeed Class-D is rocking now. If you are buying new hardware, A/B is history... I am still running my old gear in my oldtimer W164: HIFONICS + DLS (3-way + SUB). It looks and sounds authentic, though I still had to install a DUDU7 to get all the necessary functionality for 2026.

Are there any developments regarding our issue? It has been quite quiet lately...

Mikescotland change amps To D class

There are few things to say why in my case.

I got this top-tier DSP/AMP, actually the best one in the ESX products lineup, as a gift and it would hard to sell it for reasonable price there is no any shop receipt or shop warranty (only manufacturer warranty, but it is more complex in case of any issues).
Specs-wise it even looks better rather the setup I had, THD, number of channels, physical dimensions
I'm returning to the mono-brand setup, where all the components (except the head unit) are ESX
Hypothetical more convenient re-install on the potential next car, as physical size gives me more flexibility

I'm going to sell old DSP and amps as they're in perfect condition and under warranty still
