Whistler having issues trying to get the 2k DVR to work correctly. Says DVR not connected and the ADAS wont work
hafiz_tahir Whistler from the picture, you have to install dvr core service first. Go to the file manager Select usb (that contain the .apk). Install Open the dvr 2k apps Check for apps update and firmware update If prompted to install core service, proceed with the installation
DUDU-Meng Whistler If you are unable to continue with the setup, please uninstall the currently installed 2D DVR app and reinstall it. When you connect to the internet, you will be prompted to download and install the core service. Only after installing the core service can you use the following features. hafiz_tahir Whistler this is for AR recorder, not DUDU DVR 2k. 2k is the newer model. After install apps, is the apps prompt you to install the core service?
Whistler got this working now, uninstalling and reinstalling the app worked, it actually installed the core service this time. Thank you all for you help
Christian_S Hi guys, I tried today to upgrade my 2k dvr firmware to this version from telegram group FW_CarDvr_335_0_0_23_F_DUDUAUTO加大卡预留空间卡升级用 but it seems like my camera has been bricked It started upgrade process, flashed 4 times quickly then led remained lit on more than couple of minutes. Now is not detected anymore by headunit. Could someone help? Thank you in advanceg
DUDU-Meng Christian_S Will the DVR still turn on if I plug it in? Will it still record video if I insert a memory card? You can insert the memory card, wait a few minutes, then remove it to check if any new videos have been recorded. You can also try updating the firmware again.
Christian_S DUDU-Meng Yes. Turns on, but sometimes it doesn't get detected. Will try to update in steps from 0.20 currently to 0.21 then to 0.23. Will let you know how it works.
Christian_S As a matter of fact, still not working. I have it setup and installed, but when open dvr app, it says it's not connected. Any help on this?
DUDU-Meng Christian_S If I power on the DVR now, will it create recorded video files on the memory card inserted into it? You can leave it powered on for a while, then remove the memory card to check if there are any recordings. lockc DUDU-Meng Hi. Could you please let me know the firmware version for the compatible camera? My DUDU7 OS can no longer recognize the camera, and it shows as disconnected.
splendor DUDU-Meng With the 20011 version the ADAS calibration is back but the ADAS switch have to be turned on after every start of the car. It doesn't stay active by default. Also the GPS data it turns off by itself after you exit the menu.
DUDU-Meng lockc If you have installed DVR version 2.0, you will need to use the latest beta version of DUDUOS to support ADAS connectivity, or try installing the latest version of the launcher—though success is not guaranteed. 📥DuduAutoUiCarFH_7870 1.016082.apk 105MB
