No BT sound with 250905

Last week I received my DUDU7 headunit, installed it and immediately updated it to version 250905. Looks awesome.

But the Bluetooth is not working properly.
Connecting is no problem. But playing music from my phone to the headunit doesn't work. Also making a phone call: the call shows up, the interaction on the screens works, but there's no sound.
I tried my Google Pixel 9 Pro and a Samsung S21.
Wireless android auto works flawless, including music. But that's via the wifi connection, i assume. Calling while android auto connected, gives the same issue's.

Updated the BT firmware: no improvement.
Did a factory reset: no improvement.

Is your issue that Bluetooth music cannot play sound through the DUDU7? Have you opened the Bluetooth music interface on the DUDU7?
Regarding no sound during calls: Is it that you cannot hear the other party, or they cannot hear you? Or neither party can hear?
Please open the Calculator app and enter 000.= to test the microphone.
Additionally, please capture the Bluetooth log: Create a new folder named blinkdebug in your local directory, then reboot the system. After rebooting, a TXT file will be generated in this folder.
Proceed to perform the steps where Bluetooth music and calls have no sound. Finally, upload this TXT file here. Thank you.

Yes. No BT sound from mobile to DUDU7
The BT music interface works: I can play, pauze etc and see the title and progress of the song. But no sound.
Call: I cannot hear the other party. But they can hear me.
Mic tested: it works and hear myself 🙂

The issue may be caused by a loose solder joint in the Bluetooth module, which appears to be a hardware problem. Please contact sales.

I have the same problem. BT music works on my S24. I can hear my call via BT, but unfortunately, I can't hear anything through the speakers. Well, for testing purposes, I've only connected the rear speakers, as I plan to connect an amplifier via the front speaker. I still have to wire that up. However, the sound is coming out of the rear speakers as normal.

The BT setting is set to "Diverse," and I can't hear my call partner!

I've now connected the radio to the power amplifier and can hear my call partner well during phone calls. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find information anywhere about the fact that the sound only comes from the front speakers during phone calls.

This is an industry standard. You can test vehicles with phone call functionality, such as Mercedes-Benz or BMW. Bluetooth calls only produce sound through the front speakers. After all, the driver is making the call, and since the driver is seated in the front, it doesn't affect rear passengers.

I have the same problem with Bluetooth when I am playing back music from the phone. Music is playing in my phone but no sound is played in the car.

However, when I receive a call in Messenger, I can listen to the caller from the speakers of the car and they hear me back very well. I haven't tried with normal call yet to see if there is a problem there.

So the call sound seems to be working correctly but not the music. It is strange.

Is DUDU's Bluetooth music app able to read the song information currently playing on your phone but no sound is coming through?

DUDU-Meng Apologies for my ignorance; I was not aware that I needed to manually select the BT Music option to play music from my phone via Bluetooth... Apparently you have opted for a different implementation of BT audio in DUDU OS compared to the normal Android, where music is playing without having to select or enable an application. Music is playing correctly through bluetooth, and the information about the song title is displayed. However, the album/song picture thumbnail is not always displayed... It is very inconsistent... I don't know why. Other times it is not displayed at all; other times it is displayed in the music tab but not in the full-screen window... It needs improvement for sure...

In general the Bluetooth implementation also causes problems with my OBD adapter connection... Maybe you need to use the stock Android Bluetooth connectivity wizard... My OBD can connect through the original Android Bluetooth settings but not through the DUDU OS Bluetooth wizard; it is not even detected in DUDU OS Bluetooth wizard. Then if it disconnects, it has big trouble connecting again, even using the original Android settings menu... Apparently there is a layer that you have implemented in DUDU OS on top of/in parallel with the original Bluetooth connectivity wizard of Android... It works for some devices, but others have big problems connecting...

I don't think you know how to connect the OBD, do you?
The OBD needs to be connected under the Settings > External Devices > OBD menu.
