Hello!
I use the DUDU 7 with my 2013 Alfa Romeo Giulietta (pre-lift version) and it works great in general.
For the radio, I use a Mekede frame for Giulietta, which I bought from AliExpress. As I understand it, DUDU is a Mekede brand, so the frame fits the radio perfectly. The main advantage of this frame is that it is one piece; many other frames are made of two pieces – one for the dash decor with a 2DIN radio hole and a second adapter for a 9-inch radio.
I found it on Alibaba: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/MEKEDE-car-frame-for-9-inch-Alfa-Romeo_1601135188464.html
One important thing missing from this frame is the metal brackets that you can see on many other frames.
Without them, the radio and decor stay in place, but they are more stable when there are metal elements into which the decor fastening pins can be pressed.
I made them myself from a flat piece of metal sheet. Now the radio is mounted extremely securely.
Regarding connecting the radio to the car, the main question is whether you have a Bose system or not, because if you do, you will probably have a different radio connector. I had a standard radio without navigation and, in my case, I have two standard ISO connectors and an adapter from Mekkede that fit almost perfectly. I say almost, because one wire in the adapter was connected to the wrong pin in the ISO connector and the radio wouldn't boot up. If I recall correctly, it was a yellow wire with a +12V supply (battery positive).
However, I just changed the pin in the adapter connector.
In summary, I connected the radio without making any changes to the car's electrical system. The idea was that all changes should be reversible without cutting any plastic or stripping any cables.
I use DUDU7 with TPMS, ADAS and a reverse camera. If you have any more questions about DUDU in this car, just ask!
