I installed DUDU Auto7 yesterday.
Most of the other features seem to work fine, but I can’t figure out how to enable ADAS.
Whenever I try to use ADAS, it says that the DVR is not connected.
In the ADAS Recorder settings,
I set the ADAS recorder to DUDU DVR2,
and on the small widget screen next to it, it shows Lingshan AR Recorder 2nd Gen,
but below that it says “App not installed.”
So, I thought this meant that some application was missing, and I checked the DUDU Auto manual.
I found this link:
https://wiki.dudu-auto.com/en/%E5%A4%96%E8%AE%BE%E9%93%BE%E6%8E%A5/AR%E8%AE%B0%E5%BD%95%E4%BB%AA
According to the instructions there, when you open the Files app, a USB1 drive should appear, and you should install bdDvr.apk or bdCarDvr.apk from it.
However, in my case, that screen never appeared.
So what should I do?
Should I insert and set up a microSD card first and then try again?
I’m not sure what the correct first step is. Could anyone advise?
