Jasper When opening the HD DVR app the connection to the camera is not stable so I am unable to use the it. I have not seen an error message.

DUDU-Meng Jasper Do you have multiple DVR apps installed? Having multiple apps of the same type may cause conflicts.
DUDU-Meng Has this issue been ongoing, or did it start after upgrading a particular system? Have you checked the hardware? For example, cables, ports, or tried switching to a different USB port, etc.?
Jasper I have the factory installed app, adas DVR, and the bdcardvr app that we are told to install in the installation instructions. Should I remove the adas DVR app? This issue first appeared after the initial update to 3.6 from 3.5. I have checked the wiring connections and they are all solid.
DUDU-Meng Jasper You can uninstall it and try reinstalling it. Or try connecting it to a different USB port.
Jasper I tried to uninstall the adas recorder app but it would not uninstall, after selecting uninstall nothing happened. I did uninstall the HD DVR app and then reinstall it, the issue has increased the frequency of the connection resetting. Tomorrow I will uninstall the radio so I can change the usb connection but I don’t expect that connecting to a different usb input will change anything but if it does make a difference does that mean the OS update damaged my radio? And will I be able to use that usb connection for anything else?
Jasper DUDU-Meng I tried all three USB ports, rebooting between connections for added measure and the issue persisted across all ports. Was there a change in the usb drivers between 3.5 & 3.6? Also when I reinstalled bdCarDvr.all I did receive a warning that the apk was not compatible with the currently installed OS. Is there an update available? Checking from in the app says it is the newest version.
DUDU-Meng If your DVR has had this issue from the very beginning and neither updating nor replacing the cables resolves it, it's likely not a software problem.

Jasper DUDU-Meng That appears to have fixed the connection issue; the app now works and has more functionality than the previous version. A new issue that has developed is that touching the DVR icon no longer opens the HD DVR app like it used to; instead, a DVR not connected message appears, which makes no sense as the DVR is clearly connected and functioning.
DUDU-Meng This app isn't the same as the previous one, but it still works. The status bar feature can't be opened directly because it hasn't been integrated yet. It shouldn't affect usage too much. You can use it this way for now.
