I mainly use Android Auto since my vehicle is offline (no 4g service) one problem i got is the voice button on my steering wheel does not launch the google assistant when in android auto. i have to press a tiny icon on the screen to engage the google assistant which is dangerous while driving. i can also invoke the google assistant via "ok google" but if you are listening to loud music, or have the windows down, this command fails all the time to be picked up by the mic. so to me the best way to interact with the head unit is to press the voice button on the steering wheel which pauses all music and listed for your commands. this button is currently working outside android auto on the dudu 7 home page. but it is pointless since i have no internet it simply launches the google browser with the following error

When using Android Auto what is happening when pressing the voice button on the steering wheel, the assistant instead of launching on the head unit,
it is launching on my phone instead. does any one know how to correct this.

Thanks for any help sorting this out
here is a demo of the behavior
