Does someone know if the turn signal trigger wires can be connected to the power line for the signal light or do they need to be connected to a consistently powered line that indicates the blinkers are on? If I connect to the signal light then the trigger wire will be sending a pulsing signal based on the timing of the light. I suppose there might be a place in the electrical system to find the latter, but it looks like this would not be trivial.
