Hi everyone,
I’m working on a 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS restomod. The goal is to blend modern digital tech into a classic muscle car. For the head unit, I’ve chosen the MekedeTech DUDUAUTO DUDU7 2000×1200 9.5-inch, and I’d love to integrate it deeply into the car.
Here’s what I’m trying to do:
Show door open/close status on the DUDU7
Show headlights on/off status
Control a Vintage Air Gen 5 A/C system (with its digital ECU) directly through the DUDU7’s climate screen. I’m handling this with an Arduino/ESP32 that talks CAN TX/RX and drives digipots to mimic the Vintage Air panel.
👉 What I need is the serial protocol (UART frame format, baud, checksum) between the DUDU7 and its CANBOX decoder. I don’t need OEM CAN IDs, just the way the head unit and CANBOX communicate so I can emulate it.
If anyone here has sniffed those UART frames, or knows which CANBOX profile (Raise, RZC, HiWorld, etc.) is easiest to emulate, I’d really appreciate any advice.
Thanks so much!
