Has anyone else reported a similar problem when trying to downgrade DuduOS to any earlier version? I can't downgrade to previous releases 3.6E or 3.6 or 3.5, etc. The problem appeared after updating to 3.6E and updating the MCU and BT to the latest versions. Every time I try, even a local install of the latest 3.6E, I get the same message.

The error message indicates a signature verification error, which could stem from two possible causes:

File corruption
Compatibility issues with your USB drive.
Please check these yourself.

I'll try a different flash drive. I'm ruling out the first option, as I've tried different versions of the software and the result is the same each time.

Just to make sure: What do you use to unpack archive? Windows internal unzip causes corruption from time to time. 7-zip would be a dependable alternative.

The culprit was an SD card that had been used repeatedly without formatting. I used a freshly formatted flash drive and it worked. I always use ZArchiver or 7zip to unpack.

Thanks. On my UIS7862S 9.5'' screen, removing this setting actually makes things worse than before.
I never had issues with unresponsiveness and lag and would like to have that setting back, so that users could select themselves what suits them. Just my 5 cents.

Adding this feature will inevitably cause issues in other areas. If you strongly require this functionality, you may submit a request in the feature requests section. However, approval is uncertain since it does have significant implications.
