Some observations:

I set the strength of the effect to the max (10), yet the changes are not very aggressive (I'd say even less aggressive than previously on the "Low" setting). This should be more amplified.
The changes happen after 40 mph (around 60kmh) and finish at 55 mph (around 80 kmh). Nothing happens until 40 mph and nothing happens over 55 mph. Not at least until 80 mph (120 kmh). Can't test faster as it's illegal in my country.
I think the best would be to very gentle start at 30kmh, perhaps and extend also over 80-90 kmh.

Source volume balance doesn't work.

Is there a difference between the volume compensation level and the non-direct mode?
The volume compensation logic is as follows: compensation at 60 km/h, increase at 80 km/h, and another increase at 100 km/h.
At speeds below 60 km/h, the noise is very low, so compensation should not be necessary. This feature is designed for high-speed driving when noise levels are high.

DUDU-Meng sounds about right with the speeds you provided. Notes:

There isnt much difference in sound volume changes between 4 and 10 effect strength (before Low, medium and high were quite huge difference). I'd say the changes of volume for me is fine when having it on strength 9.
I disagree with first change being around 60 km/h. I'd like to see sound becoming quiter when slowing down to below 20kmh (or 0 = traffic lights). Car stopped = no noise so volume should be slightly lower than at 40-50kmh. Actually the biggest change in noise is moving off from traffic lights to 50 km/h.
So:
10kmh first change (moving off) and then I agree with the speeds you set. I'd maybe complain about hysteresis, it's too small (jumping sound volume when driving just 2 kmh around the set values, hysteresis should be much bigger).

But I must say, this functionality goes in the right direction! I haven't tested non direct mode, will try tomorrow, I always have spdif "passthrough" on for my dsp.

What about the second issue - gains for separate sources?

I didn't understand the second question, and even after trying to translate it, I still didn't understand.
If it refers to the volume of a single channel, 3.6 will not be able to achieve this. It will be integrated into the next major version.

I'd like to have small correction when the vehicle is moving off from 0 to 20 kmh (like going from stationary at the traffic lights)
The volume balance between sources doesn't work (Bluetooth, navigation, music, radio) - there is a setting to balance them (sliders from 0 to 10) in advanced sound settings.

Yes. Speed compensation is effective (but see my notes in previous post) .
Sound balance (BT, radio, music etc) is not working in passthrough spdif.

Okay, I will ask my colleagues in the audio department to see if audio balance can be achieved in direct mode.
As for your suggestion of compensating once every 20 kilometers, I have also asked about this. Currently, the 60/80/100 settings are the best solution after years of testing. If there are no problems or obvious issues with the user experience, it is very unlikely that the settings will be changed.

DUDU-Meng thanks. Not every 20 kmh but 20/60/80/100. That would be ideal.
As for balance, I think it shouldn't be any problem as it was working in 3.5 with direct mode.

I consulted with the audio engineer in charge, and he said that the SPDIF pass-through mode bypasses sound balancing to achieve the best results with minimal processing and adjustable volume. If sound balancing is added, it will be necessary to revert to the previous mode, which will compromise the results.
A true pass-through effect may be added in the future, but it will not be possible to adjust the volume, which will be inconvenient for most users. The goal is to minimize processing.
Regarding speed compensation, there are no major objections, and 20 mph will not be added because there is not much noise inside the car at 20 mph ±, and suddenly increasing the volume at this point would affect the experience.

DUDU-Meng while driving I lose sound quality and mostly bass, if I enable speed compensation it gets good but I don’t want to rely on that future to achieve better quality, is there a way to achieve speed compensation volume and quality without this feature present? I feel like if I don’t turn it I loss too much sound quality for no reason? I want this feature to be always on not only when actually driving

In my previous unit I had fuller sound while driving compared to dudu7 without compensation feature

DUDU-Meng yeah the settings are not consistent, I set it up it’s great but next day I’m missing bass like some settings switch, can it be canbus problem? Canbus for skoda rapid doesn’t work for me (eu) version so I’m using Octavia’s and some other. And some other day I noticed soundmaster is not keeping its settings. For example eq settings reset after some time.

anox I struggle to understand what you mean.
Volume compensation is just this. A volume compensation. Doesn't do any other processing than volume. If you have any other things regarding "loss of quality or bass", look for other settings you might have tweaked or enabled.
I'm using it in "pass through" spdif, also tested with normal spdif and it's transparent, doesn't do anything else but volume adjustment.
Hint - you might want to play with Loudness settings in the sound menu.

Did you mention that the EQ settings reset after a period of time?
Is this the reason for the loss of bass you described?
We haven't encountered this EQ reset issue before. Please provide a screenshot of your system information and the steps to reproduce the problem.
