- Can we have in tasks wifi off and on based on ignition on?
I noticed if the WiFi is on constantly, takes around 15 seconds to connect to a hotspot. When I toggle manually wifi on / off, it connects within 3 seconds. I have changed WiFi scan throttle to off in android development settings but no change.
- Lock screen. Or PIN (that could be turned on and off). It is essential when the car goes to the service, I don't want anyone to have access to my Google account. Currently we leave the door open to any changes by unauthorised person.
- Bring back logarithmic volume control. For high power external amps and spdif passthrough linear method is completely not working. The initial volume adjustment is too coarse, value 2 and it's too loud. Maybe a switch or a patch to let people choose what they want.
- Widget with speed limits on a driven road. This is nicely implemented in FCC launcher and works. I believe they use openstreet maps.
- Stop using goede maps for street name in the status bar, it's not working in any country I traveled in July (UK, Belgium, France, Germany, Poland, Czechia, Netherlands). I believe it works only in China. Take info from openstreet maps or similar (works almost everywhere). This is also flawless in FCC launcher.
I think for these location things, FCC launcher should be an example and source how to do it correctly.
