I have read all the posts in the thread. My question was about the status of what is currently being pushed OTA since apparently in settings/more/app store you need to select the checkbox to enable beta testing......?

I was impressed that no matter what I set in location and speed (机方与速星) as the priority choice for displaying speed, it always stays on GPS data and doesn't switch to OBD or CANBUS after I exit the settings menu.

kolarov yes, we asked a few times, there was no answer. Large widgets and status bar are only working with either ELM Obd, or GPS for speed, they won't take speed and coolant from canbus, even if the option is set in menu and canbus provides that data.

After official version installation mix navi sounds stopped working. Any time other navi app that main plays sound radio is stopped. Applications are added in mixing menu. Before upgrade everything was fine.

Other issue is related to Gemini, when triggered autio is routed back to radio and Gemini answers are not played. This become broken in some 3.6 version update.

I have been a beta tester for quite some time now. I've never had an issue until the latest stable update. I am encountering random and frequent GPS signal loss, and sometimes the person I'm calling does not hear my voice. Both issues never happened before this build and are both solved by a restart of the device.

Look at the post. No where is it mention that this is a beta update OS. No where is it in the instructions that you have to enable beta settings.

Duh, did I say its stated in original post.. No. I simply gave you instructions on how to update via OTA which you asked about. There's no need to be an A-hole about it.

Fact is, if you want to update to 'Official' (no mention of Stable) then currently you must enable the beta option. If you don't want to do this, don't have a go at me ffs. It's entirely your perogative

dudu7. 12.3인치 일반모드 사용하고있는데 최신3,6E공식버전(250729)에서는 분할화면이 안되네요 3.6E베타버전(250708)에서는 분할화면이 잘됐었는데 왜 그럴까요?

Why don't you try doing it without getting involved in complicated matters? I don't really understand why you want to upgrade anyway.

Why should anyone do something not recommended officially? The post stated clearly that it is NOT BETA but OFFICIAL. why need to change settings for official??

People who want to upgrade are people who are facing problems with the current version. Is that so difficult for your brain to process?

ebackbone don't mix up "official" and "stable" release. The current "official" is beta and it's easy to see because a stable never introduces much new functionality but this one does. If you want to wait for the stable release that's ok, but it's not this one. For me the current (official beta) version arrived OTA more than a week ago and works just fine on both my units (Dudu7 and 7862).

See here the thread title in this forum. I am aware that there was a 3.6E public BETA but this thread does not say it is that version, it is saying with title OFFICIAL. The same thread title when 3.6 was released and pushed to OTA. Can you see how confusing it is if this is titled OFFICIAL but is still "BETA"??

ebackbone yes but it doesn't change the fact that you'll have to wait for the next stable if you don't want beta... and I don't think there's any need for ranting, I'm glad there's active development and proper beta testing of new functionality.
