I have a Chrysler 300C 2006 and recently installed a head unit running DUDU 5. I’m using a CANBUS adapter Simple Soft RP5-CH-004 (see attached photo).
On my previous Android head unit, I could easily configure CANBUS using the standard canbus.apk. There, I selected:
Manufacturer: Simple Soft
Car Brand: Chrysler
Model: 300C
This setup worked perfectly — steering wheel buttons, stock amplifier, and other functions.
But in DUDU 5, I cannot find Simple Soft in the CANBUS type list at all.
The only configuration that partially works is:
CANBUS type: XP
Brand: Dodge
Model: RAM1500
With this, steering wheel buttons and the factory amp work, but other features don’t.
Is there any way to enable Simple Soft in DUDU 5 or install the standard canbus.apk manually?
Is it possible to update the system CANBUS database or get a file for manual update?
I checked the built-in app store → system section — no updates found.
Any advice or files would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
