Mikescotland There are preset sounds, and you can also use your own custom sound files. You can install TTS yourself to test whether it is supported.

DUDU-Meng that's the thing. How to install any TTS? There isn't any available in your app store and Dudu doesn't see Google TTS installed in android part of the headunit. Please provide instructions how to do it.

This can be used in China, as well as the Xiaoai Tongxue engine on Xiaomi phones.
I'm not sure if there are any issues with voice reading in your area, but you can try it out for yourself.

DUDU-Meng I'm looking for English TTS (Europe region set in Dudu)
in android settings, I have Google TTS activated and it works.
In Dudu there is an info in the Reminders section TTS engine needs chosen. When u press it, it says none are installed and download from App store. However, there is no TTS engine in the Dudu app store.

Mikescotland The app store does not currently offer the TTs engine. We have not yet verified that the TTs engine is available globally, so we have not blindly listed it.

MihaiFlorin I tried tts suggested by Dudu staff but it's Chinese, and English prompts are quite bad. Ended up with mp3 files with externally generated prompts. Shame it can't use Google TTS!
