Audi Q3 install audio connection

I am trying to instal a dudu7 into my 2016 Audi Q3. I have not been provided the correct audio interface cables. My car has an Audi AMI port. I have been sent a short cable with 3.5mm socket to AMI connector. I am guessing my best option would be to get a USBC to 3.5mm DAC and a 3.5mm to 3.5mm extension cable? I understand I can use one of the USBA ports instead. Is one better than the other ? Any tips? will any DAC work?

dcooksey Yes, you can use a USBC to 3.5mm or USBA to 3.5mm and connect it to your car's AMI connector via the AMI harness sent by the seller.
One thing to note though is that it doesn't have a direct audio output, you'll need a USB DAC decoder that converts to 3.5mm output!
