Hi, I use DUDU7 in my Opel Astra H with CAN decoder Lz (Hz) (HW: V5, SW: V2). My problem is that I need to connect the original GID screen together with DUDU because of some of my side projects that require analysis of the MS-CAN bus. After connecting the GID and connecting the CAN wires from the GID to the CAN decoder, my A/C keeps turning on and off.
However, if I connect to the CAN bus with only DUDU connected, without GID, I do not receive some information that is crucial for my projects (e.g. frame 0x4E8 containing data about speed and engine RPM). However, I do not want to disconnect DUDU from CAN, because then the buttons on the steering wheel do not work, so I cannot change the volume, etc.
Looking at the problem with A/C, I thought that maybe it would be enough to disable the ability to send CAN frames to the ECU in DUDU, but unfortunately I did not find such an option anywhere, to be able to check if it will solve my problem.
Any ideas?
Btw, I'm using the CAN profile for the Opel Antara (the one for the Astra doesn't work).
