  • How to connect my Shanling M3 Plus Digital Audio Player (DAP) to the Dudu7

Hi I am planning to buy Dudu7. But not sure how to connect my DAP to the head unit. Is there anyone who can help?

George it's a player with usb Dac mode. So, you'd connect it to the any usb port on DUDU7, preferably USB-c and connect to the usbc in your player.
In the menu of dudu7 in audio settings you chose usb dac and that's all.
Will it work? I have no idea as checked on the product page that your player requires usb driver for windows but not for Linux and mac. Which would indicate it might be not plug and play fully like other DACs.
You can check by connecting your player to a modern android phone via usbc to usbc cable and check for instance with poweramp or USB audio player if the phone sees and plays via your player. If it does, there is almost guaranteed it will be OK with Dudu 7

Thanks Mike. I was hoping there be another alternative to the USB C port, as I would be unable to hear my DAP processed sound quality, and instead hear the Dudu7's DSP one. In the old days, we could connect via coaxial cables, but now I note the head unit only has coaxial output (vs input).

George I'm confused now. So I understand you want to play from the DAP to dudu? It's possible only with analogue RCA inputs.
But... Why? Dudu can play from an usb stick with pretty much transparent quality.
