This is not a post requesting help. There is no wiki to contribute so this is the second best thing to help out people struggling with this issue, as both the seller of the harness and Dudu provide incorrect instructions to get this to work. This is not meant as an insult, there are thousands of models of cars and Dudu can't know everything about every make and model.
My car model: Vitara Turbo 2017 (made in hungary)
Harness required: LM-XB-04 (bought mine in aliexpress)
Canbus adapter: OD-LM-01
Instructions:
Connect canbus adapter to the headunit AND the OBD port in your car. If you don't connect to OBD, canbus will never work. In Dudu software, set the canbus protocol to Raise/VW/PW/Low.
The LM-XB-04 harness has a brown cable going into the G5 position that then plugs into your Dudu unit. This brown cable splits into two; one end goes to the header that plugs into the canbus decoder, and the other end goes to the green harness that connects to the Suzuki OEM green header.
To make sure that the Dudu head unit shows your backup camera image when you engage reverse, YOU SHOULD NOT CUT THE BROWN CABLE (G5) AT THE BOTTOM as instructed by the dudu manual and/or the seller of the harness. Only cut the end that goes into the green header. The end that goes into your canbus adapter should remain connected to G5.
As long as your reverse camera is working, your car will switch to this image when reverse is engaged. If you get a black screen, I don't have any support to provide as I didn't run into this issue. Send a message in the HW Installation Support channel in the Dudu official Telegram group. They're very nice and helpful people.
