"No support" is not the same thing as disallowing it from working. If the real youtube music works, I don't see why revanced shouldn't.
As a point of fact, Dudu auto is probably modifying google apps themselves to make them work as widgets, exactly what revanced does to modify google apps to work in the way we want rather than how google wants. That would be why google play protect flags some of their apps (number 15 in the FAQ).
If I'm incorrect about this then let me know.
So before we get on a high horse and think it's a bridge too far to expect unauthorized apps to work, we should maybe think about which is worse: using modified apps, or making money from a product that is sold that relies on modified apps.
If you sell a product that relies on unauthorized apps to work, you should not really be surprised when you attract customers that want unauthorized apps to work.
Personally, I want modified apps to work and I don't think it's that much of a support burden simply to not disallow them from working. It's probably a single entry in a whitelist of app signatures.
Hopefully they can quietly make it work, or simply not make it not work, without "providing support". Youtube revanced works in standard android with no support needed.
Once again, if I'm wrong about any of this then let me know.
edit: I hope I don't sound ungrateful, it is genuinely amazing to have a head unit that has full Android and the dedicated hardware in the dudu7. Also I don't even use the widgets because I'd rather the full interface of the app.
But saying they can't make revanced work without facing legal issues seems pretty weird with the fact they're manufactured in China and come with preinstalled modified apps.
