USB audio input?

Hi,

I have following setup: Dudu7 -> Helix Dsp (digtal coax) -> Amps.

I need to connect my laptop to my system for REW measurements.

Can I connect my Windows laptop to dudu7 headunit via USB so that my laptop sees it as audio playback device and I am able to play REW test tones?

JarkkoV83 you can export a wav file with pink noise from rew to a USB stick and play with poweramp on DUDU. Same with a sweep.

That would be a nice feature.

I dont have my Helix yet but I had planned to output from my laptop to the Helix directly. Or if I wanted to play directly from the Dudu7 I'd create the audio files for the tone I want and lod them on USB. That could be a tedious process though.

Mikescotland The chirp needs to be played by REW which would require the headunit play directly via usb input from the laptop

doozy Yes you can. Use generator > Sweeps, save to file, then choose channel to measure and add timing reference.
Pretty much the same way as directly from the REW to HU.

No, you want to play laptop audio on your car speakers You can use a bluetooth connection and use bluetooth music or aux to do so.
