Are you using Android Auto or the independent apps?

I have an Android phone and use AA mostly bit I'm interested in using the Dudu7 with the ability to run apps native.

What are some user experiences of AA or native apps? What do you find yourself using the most?

In my case I mostly just use Waze and Tidal but I'd like to expand that to YouTube and maybe a web browser or Evie (text to speech for .pdfs).

Isk I use native apps, mostly maps, YT music by using Hotspot from my phone.

Works well and fast enough. Poweramp player for local music stored on a USB flash drive.

Both… i heavily use android auto with nav and my samsung music in my phone. However i run a sim so i let other apps that aa cant use play off that.

Alot of people on here seem to be against aa and carplay and run the standalone apps like google maps.

On your sim, whats your data max? I plan to use Tidal hifi and that can use upto 7.5mb/s, I'll offload as much as possible to a 1tb scandisk mini usb flash drive but thats only about 2,000 albums.
