bigtree I am trying to install a DUD7 13 12/512 in an ISUZU MU-X 2020 Model, i currently have connected using an Aeropro IUSZU to ISO harness and mostly is working however no sterring wheel controls. I removed a dasiata headunit and sterring wheel controls just worked. Do i need a can bus box ? If so which one and does that need a cable into the serial can bus port on the DUD7 ? and if so where to get that cable ? Thanks
dudu-lai bigtree 20P connector, 6PIN is SWC+, 15PIN is SWC-, is that right? You can connect 6PIN to G7 of DUDU, and 15PIN to G1 of DUDU. Try to see if it works
bigtree So on the iso harness they would be labelled Key 1 and Key 2 ? Pink and Pink/Black , Unfortunately not working, tried reversing them, the same. To be sure, I go into SWC learning and hold button for 5 seconds and should get the code set ?
dudu-lai bigtree Yes, only one of KEY1 and KEY2 needs to be connected. SWC- (PIN15) is connected to the negative pole G1 Are you connecting it correctly?
bigtree Ok, so if I connect key 1 and ground key 2 I get numbers in the swc learn but pushing the buttons make no difference and all keys show the same code
dudu-lai bigtree Use a multimeter to measure the voltage of PIN6 of connector No. 1 and observe whether the voltage changes when the button on the steering wheel is pressed. Or you can also test whether there are different resistance values
bigtree So for anyone interested in the SWC Only. I had to use Aerpro Harness CHIZ2C which includes a connects2 box for SWC and a CTMULTILEAD.2 using the Key 1 and Key 2 connected to Key 1 and Key 2 from the headunit. These connect to the ISO harness from the DUDU7. I also had to cut the Red Wire on the Aerpro harness to supply permanent power directly to the head unit. Now all working good !
