This INFAMOUS REAR CAMERA ALIGNMENT CRISIS is new to me. Wasnt expecting it… never experienced it with any other rearview camera setup so this takes the prize for that. Thanks dudu for really fooling me here. You got me good. " INFAMOUS " must be a known long time issue if its INFAMOUS. Not really a good look then if its still present.
I guess your argument is its not possible to miss judge objects in the rear camera view because of this. So your saying this is ok and everybody should be alright with it and just deal with it? Hit a car, hit a person, hit a pole, hit whatever, take your pick. It doesnt make it ok. Its still a safety concern.
You hit my point right on the head… yes you can use your rearview mirror and also turn around which im sure most of us do on top of using the rearview camera. But again what is the point of the rearview camera if its wrong and can cause some type of miss judgment and cause an accident? And no you dont have to be driving 50+ mph in reverse. I was parking and it completely threw me off when ot happend.
So over dramatic… i dont think so. The camera the way it is can cause an accident. Let someone drive the car who is not expecting this to happen. Your odds just went up to hit something while backing up. It shouldnt be this way and shouldnt be settled upon this way. The point is to make things better which is what this radio experience is about when compared to other android units.
If anyone ever gets into an accident because of this… this will be the first place they come to rag on it and how bad it is saying why wasnt it fixed or why is it that way cause it shouldnt be.
