  • WLAN connection problem via hotspot

I'm using the DUDU 7 device via a hotspot on my Android phone.
I would like the hotspot to activate automatically.
So I've tried two different apps so that the hotspot starts when the device connects via Bluetooth.
I've tested Wi-Fi Auto Hotspot and the Automate app.

This works very well; when the DuDu connects via Bluetooth, the hotspot starts.

But the DUDU 7 won't connect to the hotspot. It tries to establish a connection several times, but the connection never connects.

If I start the hotspot without automation, DuDu connects to the hotspot immediately.

I've also tried this on my second DuDu device, the 7862S, and the connection works perfectly without any problems.

I've already performed a factory reset on the DuDu 7 without success.

As soon as the hotspot starts automatically on the phone, no connection is established.

Can anyone help me here?

    1. Please upload a photo of your system information by going to Settings > About > and holding down the image in the upper left corner.
    2. Please specify whether your phone's Wi-Fi hotspot is 5G or 2.4G.

        I'm using the 2.4 GHz hotspot.
        I tried the 5 GHz hotspot today and it seems to be working.

            Hotspot: Use 5G, as 2.4G is unstable. Furthermore, 2.4G does not have a separate antenna and shares the antenna with the built-in system Bluetooth.
