It would useful to let the user nominate to apply a delay when the car is turned off before the unit shuts down.

Eg Rather than shutdown immediately when the car is turned off, the unit will remain alive/sleep mode (with screen off) for X minutes before shutting down completely.

This will assist users who are only stopping their car for a few minutes eg dropping kids are school, filling up with petrol and avoid the need for the unit to completely turn off then boot up from cold a few mins later.

This feature has always been available. In the DUDUOS_3.6 system, go to Settings > Vehicle Protocol > Startup Settings > Post-Shutdown Operations. Here, you can set a delay time between 0 and 600 seconds.

The sleep time cannot be adjusted; it is data set by the MCU.

It don't need to in my opinion. If unit is connected correctly it doesn't drain battery at all. At least it doesn't in my Honda accord 2010. Even after two days battery voltage didn't drop by 0,1V. And I have sleep option all the time.

There is no need to worry. If the vehicle is parked for more than 70 hours, it will automatically switch to shutdown mode. If the voltage is low or the current is too high during this period, it will automatically shut down.
