  • How PiP works

Hello, I'm quite new on DUDU Os and I'm discovering everyday new functionality... But, I can't stay in the car even when my car it's in the box (my wife is starting to get seriously worried), so

Someone could explain me how PiP works and what's its potentiality?
Sorry, I'm a rookie 😂🤣

PIP is the small window of the application running. This allows multiple applications to be displayed on the screen at the same time.

DUDU-Meng ok, and how to manage them?

mircondini What mode are you using? Normal mode or Minimalist mode? In Minimalist mode you have tree dots on top of each window. From where you can manage what app is displayed.
It would be nice if you provide a foto with your device details.

MihaiFlorin at the moment I'm using Normal mode

Another option is to use minimalist mode with 3 virtual windows.
The minimalist mode has the option to drag one window bigger, thereby hiding the 3rd window.
Say you have from left to right Navigation, local media, a 3rd application.
You can put your finger on the separator between Navigation and local media and drag it to the right. Then the navigation window doubles in size, the local media window becomes the right window, and the 3rd application window is hidden.
In this case you still can use the horizontal triple-dot to select another app ( I switch between magic earth and google maps a lot in the navigation window).
I actually always use the minimalist mode this way (dual window) and only drag the navigation window back when I need the 3rd application.

surfer63 the 3 windows sound nice but I like the 3D model car with its door opening animation, wish there was a way to use it as a pip

For me that animated car widget is the most useless app widget there is. What does it bring me as a driver?
Show that the door is open? I know that and otherwise my central car clocks/leds display tells it to me. To know that I pressed the brakes? I already know that.
To me it is a complete waiste of precious screen space that can better be used for navigation or something more useful.
