  • External amp via optical not working with DUDU7 (same wiring as previous unit)

Coming from a Joying unit, I had a working setup with an external Helix DSP amp via optical. Optical cable and AMP Cont wire was and is connected in the same way.

The amp/fan option is turned on in the settings but I only have audio via RCA whatever I tried changing in the settings. I think the amp is not turning on.

Car is a Honda Accord 7 (2003)

dudu-lai thanks for your response, which output do you mean? I only use the wiring harness that automatically includes analog speaker connections (that I don't need) and the optical plug is for the external amp. The DUDU7 RCA plugs are not connected. Maybe the wiring harness is "hijacking" the audio signal?
I do have 2 old speakers connected to the Honda stock analog audio system and these have sound.

Pomiń sterowanie DUDU i podaj na REMOTE wzmacniacza zasilanie +12V. Potwierdzona czy problem leży po stronie jednostki android czy po stronie twojego sprzętu.

Tomaso I didn't understand your comment at first but I looked through my DSP amp settings, and I switched from remote control to signal detection and now it works!!

The only thing is that the old stock speakers are still playing at the same time but I don't think I can disable that with software, except setting the speaker field to front or disconnect the speakers physically.

Moja wypowiedź miała na celu weryfikację po której stronie jest problem. DUDU wystawia sygnał REMOTE w dwóch miejscach: główna kostka zasilająca ANT Power i wiązka Can Dekoder. Ale słusznie postąpiłeś ustawiając automatyczne wykrywanie sygnału. W moim przypadku fabryczna wiązka posiada usunięte piny idące do głośników, tylko zasilanie jednostki i sygnał SPDIF do Procesora Helixa

Tomaso Got it. My car is too old for integrated CANbus, I think it only supports steering wheel commands. I also have a Helix and it's great how we can configure everything flexibly also for these use cases. At least I won't have to draw new power lines haha
