there is a hiss when working through a third-party amplifier. by analogy with Teyes, I wanted to change the screen supply voltage to 11.5 V, but this voltage is not saved, it is reset to 10 V.
hissing when working through a third-party amplifier
- Please upload a photo of the system information screen.
- are you saying that Teyes can't save the screen after adjusting the current, it still defaults to 10V?
- is there any noise during the power on process of the externally added power amplifier? Is it using SPDIF output or RCA output?
returned the device to the seller.
yes, I press 11.5v, then exit this menu, enter again and there again 10v, although the bottom line saves the values (there from 0 to 100, I think)
yes, this noise is both on the RSA and on the SPDIF. I don't have wires directly from the DUDU amplifier to the speakers.
I read that now more often that there is noise and background noise over the RCA cable. Is this a general problem? That would not be good
I also get audible background hissing when setting my amplifier level past 40 in vehicle settings. I have a 2017 Prius with JBL and Raise Canbus.
DUDU-Meng I hope you're right. I'll get my power amplifier in 1 or 2 months and then I'll see if I have any noise.
Blackbandt I read that there is such a problem on Teyes. There is an opinion that this is on most Android devices, I did not find out the reason, otherwise I would not ask here)
Blackbandt It would be possible to refer to a faulty third-party amplifier or RCA cable, but the 1-din Pioneer works without any noise. Pioneer- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyhMTXlV788 teyes or dudu5 the hissing is the same- like a analog radio on low loud.
fyodorg But the shutdown popping is definitely not normal. This happens with Pioneer when the RCA ground on the radio is defective.
I'll test it as soon as I have my amplifier
Blackbandt Amp hiss noise floor is caused by gains being too high 100% of the time.
If it’s a very loud hiss then this could be a signal grounding issue, but it shouldn’t happen on digital input. Drop your gains.
Amp pop was fixed in an MCU update you can find on this forum. See the hardware support section pinned thread.
