Hello!
I have a DUDU7 unit installed in my ages old Honda Accord via a car specific fascia and a Canbus box.
All functions of the AC control works like charm, when I press a button the expected thing happens and I even have a floating display on screen to display the changes.
When I go to Vehicle Setting and start the display panel from there I got this screen:
Unlike the previpous one, this one is even touch-aware and looks a lot better.
When in DUDU settings I select the first option to try bringing up this nice looking staff when I push a button,
nothing happens, this screen just does not show up.
Here comes my inquiry: Is there a way to change that rather ugly looking stock FYT AC dispaly panel
to the likeable looking DUDU one like this?
And yes, this is my biggest problem DUDUwise...
Thanks for any suggestions in advance!
AC control display panel - Can I make it look DUDUlike?
Please upgrade your DUDU7 to the latest system version 250519, you should be able to use the new version of the A/C interface.
Please take a picture of the system information screen and upload it here.
Settings-About-Hold down the top-left corner of the picture.

Welll... it is too bad. Then I must live with it even after updating if I understand you right.
But I have some questions if I may ask:
Previuosly I had units working with an RZC and an other one with CYT canboxes in the same car. Should I try to get one of those canboxes (even though I'm aware my chances to accomplish this) to get your AC floater working?
Is there a chance that you guys implememt daojun functionality in upcoming releases? Should I post a feature request for this or is it in progress anyway?
If the FYT "nice looking" app works just fine, and as I sad it does, why the DUDU interface can not do the same and take its job over? It is not just a configuration settings of some kind?
I'm taking your time too much considering the minority of my problem I know and I'm sorry for this matter, but If you could help me better understand this issue that would be highly appreciated!
And if I can help you solving my problem I would gladly do so. Not like you, I've got plenty of time...
The new AC interface we haven't started doing the daojun canbox adaptation yet.
It should be getting done at a later date, but it's not clear when
DUDU-Meng I have a Peugeot RCZ and selected RZ(Raise) for CANBUS.
I dont't se a version of the CANBUS implementation.
Should I be able to see the AC controls somewhere with 3.6? Because other controls work and AC it was mentioned in the release notes.
Is there some information what is the best/newest/correct Firmware for the CANBUS adapter?
DUDU-Meng
That's OK, I know you guys have more important things to take care of, I will wait and hope for that adoptation.
Just a simple question I have and I ask you because I can not think of any other sources than you. As much as I know the canbus box is connected to the car's can system by canbus messages and the HU is connected to the box by serial communication using the can tx and can rx wires. That implementation you are about to do is about this serial communication, right? Something like teaching the DUDU to speak the "language" of the canbox?
This question is only for my technical interest, nothing else, but I hope you make it clear to me.
Thank you again if you do so!

I didn't read what you said, but I have a feeling you're pretty much right.
The canbox manufacturer will decode the car's canbus protocol itself, convert it to the box manufacturer's own language presentation, and then the android big screen manufacturer will have to adapt it for the canbox manufacturer's language.
Do you have knowledge if canbus messages not recognized/processed by canbox are also sent to headunit? Are they shown in canbus log file?
kryzys
That's something only the canbox manufacturers know, and each canbox brand handles it differently.
If the canbox can not handle we do not know, we can only support to see the command logs sent to the host by the canbox, the factory set to open the protocol log print can see the command sent by the canbox.
I've already written in different post that there is something wrong with logging canbus messages. Despite enabling the "Export CANBUS..." option, I cannot find log file. Should it be in canBusALog direcotory or somewhere else?
DUDU-Meng Then let me try to make myself clear then. I owned an other brand android HU in the past, and that unit came in a fascia, which had that RZC canbus integrated / built in the fascia itself. When I have replaced it and switched to your unit, I had to buy an other fascia, and it came with a separate Daojun canbus box I'm currently using. There was no problem with the RZC thing, I just simply sold it along with my previous unit, so I don't have it anymore. And what I like about the Daojun box? It is simple: It works seamlessly and even better and more reliable than the RZC one.
But if you pay this suprisingly much attention to my issue, in return I would still want to offer my help in any way I could making this canbus box working on my DUDU. Not much I know of this matter, but I learn fast and like challenges!
DUDU-Meng Great, then I could make myself understandable!
I just can not stop asking... feel free not to reply to me anymore, no offense taken.
As I've read your previous replyes one thing occured to me: If I could get my hand on an RZC canbus working with my car, and I would replace the Daojun one with that, could I get DUDU to work with it?
Hmmm...
