Hi. I have never installed a subwoofer but am about to. Have bought an InPhase USW300 Subwoofer to connect up to Dudu7. Please see wiring diagrams below. What is the best method listed in screenshot that allows trebles and mids to OEM speakers/tweeters and low pass frequencies to the USW300?
Ideally I would like to use method 2 as there's no splicing/interfering with speaker cables like in method 1.
Method 2 seems easiest as it uses Dudu RCA sub out to USW300 dual RCA in. I can buy a single to dual RCA Y splitter cable to connect up with single RCA sub out of the Dudu and dual RCA input of the USW300 - but, will this allow me to relieve the bass strain on the speakers ie will HPF/LPF work as an option?
The USW300 has a dedicated remote to adjust the LPF to sub, but this will be of not much use if ALL frequencies are still getting through to the speakers... Does the LPF work even with RCA connection?
I understand that I can adjust speaker and sub frequency response separately through Dudu7 also, but was kinda hoping to make it happen through the wiring whereby if I turn the subs crossover point to say 80 or 100Hz then the speakers will only produce audio above 80 or 100Hz and the sub takes everything below said freq's.
Help please and apologies for being a sub noob!!

Oh, and if I can use method 2, where exactly does the Blue/White wire -> Audio device control go to!?
