Is it possible to create shortcuts for calls from the BT dialer favorites in DuDu?
Or allow dialing a number using the standard Android command for the Shell script:
am start -a android.intent.action.CALL -d tel:ххххххххх.
This is necessary for automation of Macrodroid.
Previously, on all Mekede firmware, I used exactly this dialing of the number and it was convenient.
Maybe there are some other options for dialing a number?

Hello,

I own a Nammi Box 2023 vehicle, which uses Smart OS V1.0 as the infotainment system.

I’m wondering if DUDUOS 3.6 (or any version) is compatible with this system, or if there are any plans to support it in the near future.

System details:

OS: Smart OS V1.0

Software version: 2.0.0.20240725145048.rc4.f0512h.user

Hardware version: V2.0

The system seems to be closed and doesn’t provide developer access or APK sideloading.

➤ Is there any way to install DUDUOS or an alternative system on this head unit?
➤ Or should I consider replacing the head unit with a compatible Android device?

Any help or clarification would be greatly appreciated.

mohammadfadel1987 No. The DUDU OS is developed only for FYT based head units. As long as you don't have the word FYT in your MCU description, no chance. Sorry to tell you this, but also in the future I don't see other devices to be supported. Maybe @DUDU-Meng can explain you better. The best solution for you is to buy a DUDU device.

If you are referring to setting a number in your dialing favorites as a desktop shortcut, this feature is not available. Currently, this is not possible, and there has never been such a design or demand for it.

What kind of usage scenario are you referring to?
I can't imagine it based on your article. If you just want to set up a shortcut for frequently dialing the same number, you can try the method you mentioned earlier. If that doesn't work and you urgently need this feature, you can submit a request in the feature request section.

There are many automation programs (for example: Macrodroid, Tasker), but none of them allow you to dial a number, because this feature is blocked in DuDu.
In Android, there is a standard feature for dialing a number: android.intent.action.CALL -d tel:xxxxxxx - but it doesn't work.
In all other Mekede and Teyes firmware, this feature works as expected!
What else am I explaining that is not clear?

What's there to take? You send a command from the terminal like this:
am start -a android.intent.action.CALL -d tel:ххххххххх
and the number is dialed.
I installed DuDu on Mekede, and the old firmware is no longer available!

Okay, thanks for updating the software for my Dudu7 (update 250519). I haven't had a chance to test all the features; I'll do that when I have some free time. in the first view it looks much better and finally plays MP3 music from the USB input. One thing that puzzles me is the Wi-Fi option. I was hoping this update would improve the Wi-Fi connection, but no... The Wi-Fi on my Dudu 7 turns off after connecting in 2-3 minutes. I've tried these phones, in my other car, in my other car and don't have this problem. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you.

The system firmware you are using is 0519. Please pay attention to recent system updates. We recommend manually upgrading to the latest version. Additionally, update the Bluetooth firmware to the latest version online via the system update app. Then try again with the issues you mentioned.
Regarding your last Wi-Fi issue: Are you saying that after successfully connecting to Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi switch automatically turns off after 3 minutes? If so, please observe whether the hotspot automatically turns on.
