  • Bluetooth issues all of a sudden

For the price of this headunit, i've had more issues pop up than all the other cheap headunits i've had combined and i'm really starting to get frustrated.

Bought a dudu7 12gb ram 256gb headunit recently and have had issues with the canbus and steering wheel controls not functioning, headlight/illumination detection and now bluetooth suddenly not functioning right.

My headunits bluetooth was workig fine yesterday and today, I am only able to connect to the headunit for calls on my Samsung s24 ultra and can no longer connect to play any media via BT. I've tried pairing and unpairing, resetting my phones BT settings, and even factory resetting the headunit but it refuses to pair for anything other than calls. I've also updated the BT fw in OTA update app about a week ago so cannot say for certain if the issues are related to the fw update as I barely had the headunit for a day before updating.

Appreciate any assistance or advice.

    CANBUS does not work, nor do the steering wheel buttons. Is the CANBUS box damaged?

        DUDU7's Bluetooth phone is in download mode and you can use it as a Bluetooth headset.
        It is used to receive audio and make calls. It does not transmit media audio to another Bluetooth headset.
        If you need to connect to an external Bluetooth device, you can turn on Android Device-Bluetooth 2, which is active Bluetooth, but has limited compatibility with external devices. You can connect to all common car Bluetooth devices in Settings - External Settings.

          I have a 2018 Subaru levorg, canbus is not damaged. It is a simplesoft canbus. SWC are not recognised at all after selecting the right canbus in vehicle settings. I have tried all subaru models under XP(Simple) canbus option

              I am trying to connect my phone to the headset so I can play music from my phone, but the headset is only giving me a connection option for calls from my phone and not audio. When I try to select audio from the setting below it does not turn blue, does not work.

                You need to turn on Multimedia-Bluetooth Music to play music from your cell phone.
