  • Dudu7 CANBUS issues with my 2018 Subaru Levorg

Hi all, recently purchased the dudu7 256gb 12gb RAM model for my 2018 Subaru Levorg. When I purchased rhe headunit, Mekede sent me a simplesoft CANBUS along with the relevant cables.

After setting everything up and installing, I ran into issues with the steering wheel controls. They are all mixed up and after speaking with Mekede, they advised to try different models and restarting after each model selection without any luck.

Is anyone else having issues with the CANBUS for Subaru's? Would appreciate any help or suggestions. I've attached images of the headunit about page and the canbus selection screen.

Hi there, I have tried this and it does not work. On the SWC menue page it says that cars with CANBUS cannot manually set the SWC. I have a CANBUS so im guessing thats why I cant use it

isameking12 How are the cables connected? Is there a photo of it?

All cables connected correctly, please see the photos. Mekedes sent the latest firmware for the canbus and after updating it still is not working.

Does the factory have a 20P connector? If so, then these three pins in my picture relate to the SWC

Do you mean the factory cable from my car or the cable that came with the headunit and canbus?

I have a Subaru Outback, you have to go into the canbus page and set it to type 2, that will straighten your up SWC it did for me and another guy on here who has a forester.

UK_mook thanks, spoke with Dudu support on whatsapp as they were a little easier to deal with. There were two additional apks they had me install which eventually sorted out the SWC issue I had. If anyone needs more info about the apps I was directed to, reach out as it seems to be required for newer Subaru's.
