  • Honda accord 2.2 i ctdi diesel 2006 - dudu7

So I purchased recently the dudu 7 full package with cameras and alla extras a good 600euros from AliExpress, I am struggling to start integrating the unit with the cars standard radio. First the CD player is not working despite being with a CD inside, also the butting to volume up and down are not working from the main console, finally tested also the radio, and the antena connected to both the dudu unit and a second time at the standard radio and do not work
. It looks like the dudu unit takes completely over and cannot integrate with any means with the useful standard main car console. This is unacceptable for such an expensive unit and let alone the missing instructions, if this had never properly tested with my car it should have been clearly marketed as such, I feel scammed with my money especially since I paid a premium device

How can I maintain my cars basic console functionalities and get use of the product can you help?

George_naf No, you weren't scammed, I think its just your ego that's hurt. It sounds like you failed to talk with a qualified sales representative prior to placing the order. The blame game finger should be pointing at yourself, not the head unit or company.

Unbelievable your answer, you know I am customer paid money right? And how do you know that I did not do that? What's your role in the comment and what are you up to make inpression? I prefer an answer to the solution do you have or not?

George_naf My answer was honest. You realize I'm a customer as well? A satisfied one at that because I did my due diligence prior to ordering, Engaging a sales rep should have been your first step. This forum is mainly dedicated for bug feedback and support, not bitching and moaning. I suggest you reset your attitude and expectations.

I suggest you drop your shady role in this forum and in this conversation, only doubts about your role and your interests your comment suggest, are you in some duty or what? Suggest to give solutions and be polite and give up your sarcasms there are more crazy than you here

George_naf i'm happy to drop my role in this conversation. i wish you the best in getting support / troll out 🙂

Hi. What model of car do you have? What year is it?
The video is blurry and it's not clear how the wiring harness is connected, you can upload the video to Google Drive and share it for us to view!

        19 days later

So after long discussion on WhatsApp, and unfortunately me having to become a mechanic, I conclude that the cd player does not not have factory aux input, it can support aux via an adapter in the cd changer port this is a 14 pin I have showed you pictures before.

So the wire harness I was provided is not gonna make the device work or integrate with the car, it needs a aux cable that will come from this white 6+8 port at the back of the cd player,

So everything in red is not working, even the CD player is not transmitting music changes sound tracks but not music, no radio also when I connect it at the cd player, not ability to increase or decrease volume, all in red is unusable, when the android device is ocmmect it simply takes over the audio and cna play only through that, without ability to use any of those red buttons including the vs player or radio.. If I want to decrease volume I need to do it in the android device. This is non sense, a simple search reveals that this radio does not have build in aux, so asking me connect the aux is not possible without the cd changer port filled in with the right hardness to change from cd to aux look at the right of the buttons

Just do search in Google you will find the truth the wire harness given me is useless and disables the proper function of my radio and cd player and buttons

This defeats any argument that this andoird device is good, which I cannot really argue as it looks fine for now, but having to deep dive so much is ridiculous

This is not a cult of passionate android device user, I am a buyer customer and have been testing all options you gave me for more than 1 month, and nothing works, when the obvious thing is that the device does not have build in aux it needs a cd changer simple as that
