Since purchasing and installing this unit, i have had problems with its BT connection. it will however connect fine to the Bluetooth OBDII dongle. when I initiate a BT Search in the System Settings as well as Android Settings it will not find my Samsung S24Ultra and the HeadUnit does not appear in scan from phone. I have also tried with other phones but same result. Is there a way to get the firmware for the BT module in the head unit or should i purchase a separate BT dongle and connect that to one of the USB leads in the glovebox and in-turn connect phone via the outboard BT Dongle.
the model purchased is the 8G/128GB Mekede 10 inch HeadUnit. Apart from the BT Issue, i am absolutely delighted with the HU. Also the HU is installed in a 2007 VW Golf GTI (mk5) with Canbus Decoder.

Try searching for it on your Bluetooth phone, or you can use your cell phone to search for DUDUAOTO and actively connect to it.
The system appears to have updated itself as i installed a SIM Card for full internet streaming and App download/updating (using PowerAmp as my music handler rather than the OEM app for DuDu Auto).... all is now working. both BT Streaming and BT for phone calls. Android settings still showing the same result when scanning for phone (cannot find the GS24U handset) , but atleast the phone is connected and operational. Not sure if pairing to another phone (friends iPhone) will work or not....
Try using your phone's Bluetooth to search for a connection to DUDUAUTO.
You can't use Bluetooth 2 with an Android setup, where Bluetooth 2 is just connecting to an external device.
