I have a DUDU7 in my 2012 VW Touareg. I have an iPhone 12 Pro which I use to connect via the built in CarPlay app. 80% of the time it connects within 30-60 seconds. About 20% of the time it shows it is connected and then "Verification Approved" but it will not switch over to CarPlay. Sometimes it will eventually connect after 10-15 mins but others like tonight, I drove 75 mins and it never connected. I have tried turning off the blue tooth on the phone and back on as well as rebooting the system, but when it doesn't want to connect, none of those things help. After my 75 min drive tonight I turned off the car and then back on, and the system connected within 30 seconds.
How do I fix this issue?
The other issue with this is the connection screen background is bright white. In the dark, it is blinding. I have my screen brightness set to dark mode, but that does not change the connection screen. See pic attached. How is this changed to a dark background?
