  • Can’t Get 360 cameras to show anything on Dudu 7

I have a 2012 Toyota Tundra SR5.

I recently ordered the Dudu 7 with 12G RAM along with the 360 camera kit in the same order from the Mekede Amazon store - order #113-9129010-4785848. I have a 2012 Toyota Tundra SR5.

After hooking up all 4 cameras and plugging into the back of the Dudu 7 I get no picture for any of the cameras. I haven’t hooked up any of the trigger electrical wires yet like for turn signal, backup trigger etc.

Do I have to hook up those trigger wires in order to get power to the cameras and see any images in 360 app or does the Dudu 7 head unit power the cameras via the provided cables I already plugged in? Just trying to figure out why I get no images on the 360 app screen?

I found info on calibrating the cameras with the calibration cloths which I have but I can’t get any images on the screen from any of the 4 360 cameras which are all plugged into the back of the Dudu 7 head unit and I can’t find any install instructions to make sure I’m not missing something.

Thank you for any help with getting these cameras to work.

I did not connect the trigger wires and all of my cameras worked. So yes, the port provides power directly.

I have been reading the forums and Telegram support chats and observed 2 main reasons for 4 black 360 cameras...
1 - Are you sure that your DUDU 7 hardware has the 360 chip installed inside it?
2 - If any of the cameras are faulty or have a poor connection , then all of the cameras may fail to send a signal.

I am not an expert - it's just what i've observed in the forums and chats.

djadventure @ManOfScience He's right, if one of the cameras isn't plugged in tightly, or if one of the cameras loses signal, the 360 won't have an image either
